Summary
The indoor thermal radiation of three swine buildings which have different structures and ridge directions was measured with a Vector radiant thermometer. One of the buildings is environmentally contoroled and built in North-South ridge direction. The other two are naturally ventil'ated and built in the ridge directions of North-south and East-Wet, repectively.HomePage
The reults are summarized as follows :
1) The indoor thermal radiation of the environmentally controled swine building was less influenced by solar radiation than the naturally ventilated buildings.
2) The indoor thermal radiation of the naturally ventilated swine building were storongly affected by reflected solar radiation and thermal rdiation from surroundings.
3) A celling and insulated roof markedly reduced thermal ridiation.
4) It was proved that the Vector radiant thermometer was useful to evaluated the thermal radiant environment in livestock buildings.
